Obituary For Terri Roxan Williams

Spartanburg, SC - Terri Roxan Williams, 65, peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on January 14, 2017. She was the daughter of the late George P. Williams and Shirley L. Williams. Terri was a native of Spartanburg. Terri graduated from Paul M. Dorman High School, Class of 1975. She attended Spartanburg Community College where she completed coursework as a Technical Secretary. Ms. Williams was employed as an accounts payable clerical specialist with RL Jordan Oil Company, AFL Telecommunications and recently with AIMCO Properties. Terri was a loyal and faithful member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church where she served on the Mt. Moriah Sanctuary Choir often performing solos until her passing. Terri was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald K. Williams. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her sister, Marcia (Robert) Dowe of Columbus, OH; her brother, Marcellus (Shizuko) Shands of San Jose, CA, James (Desree) Williams of Seattle, WA; her special sister-in-love, Zarita Blythe; her best friend, Minister Debra Penro; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Terri Roxan Williams will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Mariah Baptist Church, 445 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC. Interment will be in the Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 2800 Stone Station Rd., Roebuck, SC.

I didn't get to work with Terri long but she was so sweet and my heart goes out to her family during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. So sorry for your loss.
