Obituary For Pearl Smith

Spartanburg, SC - Pearl Lee Jeter Smith entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. She was the daughter of late Frank Jeter and Mamie L. Thompson Jeter. Pearl was the former wife of Lonnie Smith. Mrs. Jeter was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School, Class of 1974. She also attended Spartanburg Methodist College. She was a member of Monks Grove Baptist Church. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her son, Eric Tramaine (Princess) Smith of Taylors, SC; her daughter, Yaritza Lavonne Smith “Sissy” of Columbia, SC; her goddaughter, Chandra T. Jenkins of Ellenwood, GA; her six sisters, Frances Jeter, Geraldine (Bobby) Davis and Barbara Jeter all of Spartanburg, SC, Juanita (Thurmond) Earles of Charlotte, NC, Judy Brownlee of Inman, SC and Sherella (Henry) Jenkins of Ellenwood, GA; her four brothers, Willie Lee (Dorothy) Jeter of Spartanburg, SC, Ulyses (Anitra) Jeter of Boiling Springs, SC, Freddy Jeter and Jerry Wayne Jeter of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren, Zharia, London and Kingston Marley; and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Pearl Lee Jeter Smith will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Monks Grove Baptist Church, 718 Monks Grove Baptist Church Rd., Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend Walter Davis, IV MTH will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home.
