Spartanburg, SC - Charles E. Dawkins, Jr. “Dawg Dawg”, 47, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 6, 2017. Mr. Dawkins was the son of Margie Young and the late Charles E. Dawkins, Sr. Charles attended St. Paul Baptist Church. He was employed with Golden Corral. Left to cherish fond and loving memories: his daughter, Deja Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC; his siblings, Mary (Grant) Thompson, Alphonso (Denise) Dawkins and Sheila A. Dawkins all of Spartanburg, SC; his aunts, Angela Sibert of Spartanburg, SC and Ann Irby of Woodruff, SC; his uncles, Bill Dawkins of Inman, SC and Angelo Letmon of Spartanburg, SC; his special friend, Frank Holley; and a host of family and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Margie R. Dawkins. A Celebration of the Life of Charles E. Dawkins, Jr. will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church, 645 Old Howard Gap Road, Spartanburg, SC. Interment will be in the Cemetery St. Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1095 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC and 2 Lynwood Dr., Spartanburg, SC.
