Obituary For Leroy Tracy, Sr.

PACOLET, SC-- Leroy Tracy, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. He was the son of the late Alice Hardy and Tommy Tracy. Mr. Tracy was a member of New Salem Zion Baptist Church where he served in the All-Male Choir, Trustee Ministry and Cleaning Committee. Leroy retired from Willard Oil and Company of Spartanburg, SC. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his children, Joe C. Tracy, Barbara L. (Steve) Hardy and Leroy Tracy, Jr. all of Pacolet, SC, Sterling T. (Carla) Tracy of Fayetteville, NC, Tabitha T. Tracy of Spartanburg, SC, Wanda Hudson of Charlotte, NC and Sandra McHam of Spartanburg, SC; his siblings, Michael (Sandra) McHam of Cowpens, SC, Tommy Webster of Mansfield, OH, Inez Neil of Spartanburg, SC, Peggy Hardy of Spartanburg, SC, Hazel (Clyde) Eison of Pacolet, SC, Ben Tracy of Spartanburg, SC, Roosevelt Tracy of Philadelphia, PA, John Earl Tracy of Pacolet, SC, Sarah Ann Taylor of MD, Juanita Carson and Rosemary Carson; his aunt, Cindy Lewis of Simpsonville, SC; his twenty-seven grandchildren; his thirty-seven great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by: his three children, Pamela M. Tracy, Leonard Dawkins and Carl Lee Palmer; and his two siblings, Ricky Hardy and Betty Wannamaker. A Celebration of the Life of Leroy Tracy, Sr. will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at New Salem Zion Baptist Church, 675 Jerusalem Rd., Pacolet, SC. Dr. Larry D. Black will officiate.
