Jalyn Mari Jones, 24, passed Saturday, May 4, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, May 11, 2024 in the C.T. Chapel at Taylor Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Public visitation is Friday, May 10, 2024 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. EST.

Miss Jalyn Mari Jones was born August 25, 1999, in Phenix City, AL to Marilyn and Jamie Jones. Jalyn was a social butterfly as a student and graduated from The Central University (RED DEVIL NATION!!!) Jalyn saw the good in every human being that crossed her path. She never met a stranger as she would start a conversation with anyone that would talk back. She gave her life to Christ at the impressionable age of 16 and knew that Christ was and is her savior.

Jalyn gave birth to a delicately and fragile baby boy, Adonis Lareen Jones who is survived by JaCorey Marquis Brooks. Jalyn and baby Adonis were preceded in death by; maternal great grandparents, Margaret & James Horace, Sr.; great grandmother, Ora Lee Jackson; grandfather, Randy Lee Jackson; paternal great grandparents, Clementeen & Surrie Hordge; uncle, Prentiss Jones.

Jalyn Jones leaves to cherish her memories; devoted mother & father, Marilyn Jones and Jamie Jones; brother, Jonah L. Jones; grandparents, Mrs. Marilyn (Dallas) Nelson, Gwendolyn (Lee) Price; grandfather, Mr. Prince (Frankie) Jones, Jr.; one aunt, Mrs. Anissa (Anthony) Mills; Four Uncles, Charles I.
