Pennie Hart, 80, a resident of Elephant Butte, died on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. She was born on May 29, 1943, in Lordsburg, NM to Leonard Pennington and Byrdy Arlene McCommis.

Pennie was a computer tech and retired in 2006. She was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. Her hobbies included art and music. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Hart; daughter – Katrina Perfect and husband, Charles; grandchildren – Anthony and Christopher Kelley; 4/great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Long; and brothers – Len Pennington and wife, Robin, Lee Pennington and wife, Darlene, and Chris Pennington and wife, Jennifer. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl George Koehmann; and daughter, Amber Kelley.
