Mrs. Lydia Lushbaugh

Passed 05/09/2024

On Thursday, May 9, 2024, Lydia Rodriquez Lushbaugh, a loving mother of two children and grandmother of one granddaughter, passed away at the age of 49. Lydia was born on June 20, 1974, in Bronx, NY, to Gerald Westbrooks and Eugenia Rodriquez.

Lydia was an amazing person who loved animals and helping others. She graduated from Park East High School in New York. She attended Touro University College and transitioned to becoming a medical coder. She also became a property manager at Prestige Management.

Lydia was meticulous and had a big heart for prioritizing. She was humble, caring, and a great listener. She exuded positivity, happiness, kindness, and energy. Lydia was filled with life, love, and selflessness, always caring for everyone she knew. As evidenced today by all who are present, she earned the love and respect of her peers, numerous friends, and family.

Lydia was a true inspiration. She was confident, a fighter, and a survivor. She faced every challenge with unwavering strength and determination. She taught us never to give up, always to keep fighting, and to always believe in ourselves. She will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity. It's a tragedy that Lydia's life was cut short, but her impact on friends and family while she was alive lives on. Lydia is beginning her new life in heaven, looking down, wanting us not to mourn her death but rejoice in knowing she is with the Lord, holding our place until we reunite again.
