Mrs. Doris Annette Lytle Houston, 72, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Mrs. Houston was the daughter of Mrs. Ruby Porter Lytle and Frankie Lytle. She was the wife of Mr. Willie Earl Houston. Doris was a member of The Free Chapel. She was proprietor of Tri-State Medical. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her devoted husband; her beloved children, Zina Houston, Darryl Houston and Terence Houston; her siblings, Ruby (Walter) Turner, Willie Mae Mockabee, Harold Depree (Patricia) Lytle, Roberta (Elisha) Anderson and Ronald B. (Lula) Lytle; her four grandchildren; her five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of The Life of Doris Annette Lytle Houston will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Reverend Joseph Alverson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home, 503 Caulder Ave., Spartanburg, SC.
