Mrs. Brenda S. Ratliff

Brenda S. Ratliff, age 70 died peacefully on May 11, 2024 at CMC Main. Brenda was born March 30, 1954 in Wadesboro, North Carolina, the daughter of the late June & Mollie Lilly.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She was a faithful member of Expected End Ministries.

Brenda served as a Clerk of Court wholeheartedly for a number of years. After retirement, Brenda returned to work at Bates Law Firm. Brenda attended Dunbar High School (Baltimore, Maryland) and furthered her education at Barber-Scotia College.

Brenda was devoted to her family and loved spending time and supporting them in all their endeavors. She enjoyed her coffee, gardening, dancing, music, and serving at church.

Brenda was united in matrimony to Larry Ratliff.

Along with her parents June & Mollie Lilly, she is preceded in death by her brothers; Kenny Wyatt Watson (Patrica), James Reid Watson (Bonnie), Ricky June Lilly, her sister Omega Harris, grandchild Miana Williams, and child of marriage Jarion Wilson.

In addition to her loving husband, Brenda leaves to continue her legacy and cherish her memories, her daughter Nichole Carter, one grandchild; Danny Bailey Jr. (Raven), two great-grandchildren; Brayden & Brycen Bailey, a nephew who was raised in the home, Tyrese Lilly,three sisters; Bonita Davis (Gary), Tammy Douglas, Sherri Lilly, two brothers; Melvin T. Lilly, Clinton Lilly (Annette), one brother-in-Law; William Burch (Mary), one sister-in-Law Terry Harrell (Collin), children in marriage; Jamie Ratliff (Cadedra), Tiffany Ratliff, Kisha Maske, Kimberly Polk, Larry Wall, Shalaria Rivers, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Services to Celebrate the Life, Legacy and contributions of Mrs. Ratliff will be on Sunday, May 19, 2024, 2:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in Westview Memorial Park, Highway 74-West, Wadesboro, North Carolina.

The Family will greet family and friends on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 1:30-2:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel.
