MR. WILLIAM CLARY, affectionately called “Pluty”, son of Margaret Clary Davis and the late James Freeman Wilkins, was born July 3, 1969 in Mecklenburg County, VA and departed this life suddenly May 7, 2024, at his residence in Hopewell, VA.
At an early age he was baptized and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church, White Plains, VA.
William attended Brunswick High School, Lawrenceville, VA and later he obtained his GED. He was employed by Wal-Mart Industries and lastly, Southside Virginia Training Center, Petersburg, VA until his demise.
In his spare time “Pluty” enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, talking with his aunt, Popcorn, majority of the time and conversating about them Dallas Cowboys.
“Pluty” leaves to mourn his three children- Khalil, Dalirous and Kearsha; his mother- Margaret Clary Davis; his two sisters- Yolanda Woodley and Rachelle Jackson; his aunts- Mary (James) Holmes and Brenda Wilkins; special friends- Raymond Headspeth, Keteco Garnes, Steve Shelton, Darry Walker, Marcus Nunn, Sean Bugg, “Big E”, Thomas Evans, Derrick Clary, "Pop", “TC”, his family from Virginia Beach whom affectionately called him “Do Dirty”, and a host of cousins and other friends.
