Obituary For Sara Robinson

SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Sarah W. Robinson was born on June 1, 1931 to the late Elihue Watson and late Linnie Watson. She peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness Center of Spartanburg. Mrs. Robinson was a loyal and devoted member of the New Zion Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing and playing her tambourine. She will be remembered as an exquisite pianist for the Sunbeam Choir, molding them to be singers in the church today. She also served as an usher and Pastor's Aide member. She will always be remembered by Dr. Robert D. and Mrs. Nancy Wootton of whom she had the privilege to call friends and employers. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Senior Robinson, Sr.; daughter, Lindelle Robinson; sister, Margarine Kelly; two brothers, Otis Watson and Wilbert Watson. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: one daughter, Annie Bell (Noe) Aguirre of the home; three sons, Senior 'Pete' (Phyllis) Robinson, Jr., Edward Lee 'Hump' Robinson and Elihue 'DeDe' Robinson; nine grandchildren, Brook Robinson, Germine Lomont Robinson, Eugene F. Smith, Noelia Aguirre reared in the home, Quanell Aguirre reared in the home, Matthew Robinson, Candace Robinson, Edward Robinson and Kaizer Robinson; 17 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Mrs. Sarah W. Robinson will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Zion Baptist Church, 550 Plainview Drive, Spartanburg, SC. Dr. Thomas E. Massey, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Robinson will lie in state at the church an hour prior to the service. The Robinson family will receive friends at 106 Stribling Circle, Spartanburg, SC. J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
