Anthony "Ant" Titus Gilchrist, 54, of Durham, NC, passed away on May 17, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born on June 24, 1969, to Thaddeus and Myrtle Gilchrist, Anthony leaves behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and unwavering determination.

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to a cherished son, devoted father, beloved brother, and loyal friend. Anthony's enduring spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. As a dedicated laborer, his contagious smile and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on those around him.

Anthony faced life's challenges with remarkable resilience and an unmatched work ethic. His commitment to his family and community was unwavering, and his memory will forever be treasured by those he leaves behind.

Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony Gilchrist Jr. and Capri Bradford, his grandchildren, his brother Mark Gilchrist, his loving partner Michelle Cooper, and a multitude of relatives and friends. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his brother Thaddeus Gilchrist Jr., his mother Myrtle Gilchrist, and his father Thaddeus Gilchrist Sr.
