MR. JAMES MCDANIEL - AGE 83, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was born on August 15, 1940 in Fairmount, Georgia to the late Charles Frank McDaniel, Sr. and Bessie Wilson McDaniel. He was preceded by his daughter, Joy Nicole McDaniel, stepson, Rodney Turner, sisters, Susie Mae Bennett, Mamie Jo Morris and Ada Winters, brothers, William Albert McDaniel, Dave Golden, Walter Golden, and Charles McDaniel. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and he was retired from Mannington Mills.

Survivors are his daughter, Leretha (Tony) Blalock, stepdaughter, Darcus (Reginald) Taylor; stepson, Kim (Gloria) Turner; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; brother, Charles Allen McDaniel; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00 A .M. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Weaver as Eulogist and Bishop Claud Jones as Presider. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 12:00 noon until the funeral hour on Saturday. Interment, Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery, Fairmount, Georgia.
