Rev. Barbara R. Phillips Spartanburg ,SC - Reverend Barbara Ruth Phillips entered into eternal rest on February 4, 2018. Mrs. Phillips was the daughter of the late John Henry and Enzie Thompson McDowell. She was the widow of Rev. William Phillips. Survivors include: her daughter, Kasondra Phillips of Columbia, SC; her sons, Fabyon Stover of Charlotte, NC and Andre Phillips of Atlanta, GA; and her sisters, Doris (William) Little of Chesnee, SC, Annette (Tim) Hughes and Rebecca (Darrell) Meaders both of Charlotte, NC. A Celebration of the Life of Reverend Barbara Ruth Phillips will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Brooklyn C.M.E Church, 103 Brooklyn Church Rd., Chesnee, SC. Bishop James B. Walker will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home, 214 Edenbridge Ln., Spartanburg, SC.
