LAWTELL – A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Unity Baptist Church, LA for Mr. Ranal John Sam, 63, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at his residence in Lawtell, LA.

Mr. Sam’s memories are being cherished by: his two daughters, Casondra Sam of Lawtell, LA and Shalynn Thomas (Isaac) of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Thomas (Andy) Sam and James Sam, both of Lawtell, LA; three sisters, Alice Brooks of Rayne, LA, Janet Leger (Paul) and Zinola Sam, both of Houston, TX; his significant other, Juneice Curry of Lawtell, LA; eight grandchildren; one bonus grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Wilson Sam and Mrs. Mable Arceneaux Sam and his sister, Shirley Sam.
