My condolences to the family in the loss of your beloved family member. It is very difficult when a loved one fall asleep in death. But the Bible provides comfort to help you cope with your loss. Psalm 34:18 says; Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. He also expresses a wonderful hope for the future to reunite you and your loved one. At Hosea 13:14 it says: From the power of the grave I (God) will redeem them; From death I will recover them. This wonderful promise from our loving heavenly father can encourage and strengthen you as you look forward to seeing your loved one again.
