Ms. Sandra Borden Ellison, a native of the Riverdale Community of New Bern, North Carolina transitioned Friday, May 17, 2024 at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.

She is survived by her son, Tremayne Henderson; grandchildren, Dondre Borden, Delmauri Wright, Keither Phinazee, Isaiah Henderson, Kaileese Henderson; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Willie M. Borden (Donna), Sr., Larry (Iris) Borden, Russell Borden, Jeffery (Ann) Borden; nieces, nephews; cousin/brother, Marion Curry (Diane) a host of cousins; special friend, Todd Hanson.

The viewing is Monday, June 3, 2024-11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church Morrison 12720 Patrick Henry Drive, Newport News, VA 23602. The service will begin a 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church Morrison.
