On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Neana B. Millner, 75, of Ironhorse Rd., Chesterfield, VA transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life at her residence. She was born in Martinsville, VA on January 1, 1949, to the late Jessie D. Millner and Elsie W. Millner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Gloria Jean Harris and one brother, Jessie D. Millner.

Neana was a member of Galilean House of Worship and faithfully watched Refuge Temple Ministries every Sunday morning. She was a graduate of Albert Harris Class of 1967. Neana was a CNA and retired from Richmond Residental as Residental Counselor after many years.

Those left to cherish her memory includes: one son, Charles "Poodle" Millner of Richmond, VA; one daughter, LaToyna Millner of Chesterfield, VA; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; three sisters, Pastor Monique Jamison, Lillian "Nette" Martin, and Loretta Martin all of Martinsville, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral at noon at Refuge Temple Ministries 205 Clearview Dr., Martinsville, VA with Minister LaDonna Hairston. The burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens, 869 Parkway Dr., Martinsville, VA. A public viewing will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville, VA between the hours of 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and all other times at the home of her sister, Lillian “Nette” Martin, 212 Sellers St., Martinsville, VA.
