My condolences to the family. To lose a loved one in death is most distressing. Our loving heavenly father provides comfort in his word the Bible to help soothe the pain of grief and sadness. Psalm 34:18 says; Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Also the promise at Revelation 21:4 is very comforting. It states; And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I was Markese?ÇÖs 6th grade teacher at Z. L. Madden. He was one of my favorite students always smiling. He had a twinkle in his eye that lit up his face. A fond memory was when the ?Ç£wear you pants hanging off your hips movement was very popular Markese wore a pair of overalls to school and fought with those overalls all day trying to keep them low on his hips. He lost the battle while running through the gym to catch the bus. As he ran those overalls fell to his ankles and I ran behind him helping to pull them up so he wouldn?ÇÖt miss his bus. I can?ÇÖt think about Markese without that memory popping into my head. He was such a cute kid and all the others loved him. He could turn on the charm with just his smile and the twinkle in his eyes. You and your family will be in my prayers. With deepest sympathy, Jane Crowley.
