Sharon Pyatt, 67, of Columbus, GA passed Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Bethel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Brandon Thornton, pastor and Dr. Wendell Jones, Sr., officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing is Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 1 - 5 p.m. EST.

Ms. Sharon Pyatt was born on September 14,1956 in Phenix City, Alabama. Sharon was the daughter of the late Jimmy Lee & Mattie Bell Jackson. She departed this earthy life and gained her wings May 29, 2024, at the beautiful age of 68.

Sharon confessed her life at an early age and joined Bethel A.M.E. Church. She attended Mt. Olive High School. She worked in the healthcare field for the first half of her life before transitioning over to Dolly Madison Bakery where she later retired. In her leisure Sharon lived her life to the fullest as she enjoyed having fun, singing, cooking, spending most of her time gathering with her family and dearest friends. As of late she loves spending OT hours in Walmart, (one hour) was her new limit. She enjoyed cruises to different countries with her core travel group Veleka, Shelia, Charlene, Catrina, Clarissa, Daphne Geraldine and guest.

Welcoming Sharon to her new Heavenly home is her Father & Mother Jimmy Lee & Mattie Bell Jackson, Her husband, Joe Pyatt; loving daughter, Quashonta Pyatt; two brothers, Jimmy Lee (Pokey) Jackson and Brady (Hugh) Jackson. The welcome will be worth seeing those faces.

Left to cherish her memories are one devoted daughter, Catrina(Eric)Kimber of Columbus, GA; one grandson, Jaylin Gary of Columbus, GA; six granddaughters, Quashandra Pyatt of Phenix City Alabama, Quashandra Riley, Quavadis Pyatt, Quavizia Pyatt and Jhania Gary all of Columbus, GA and Quanizia Hoskins of Newnan, GA; three sisters, Clarissa Perry of Atlanta, GA, Shelia (Michael) Mims of Columbus, GA, and Daphne Jones of Waugh, AL; sister-in-law, Shirley Jackson of Columbus, GA, Mary Ann Jackson of Phenix City AL; two brothers, Ivory (Helen) Jackson of Columbus, GA, Curtis (Glory) Jackson of Phenix City, AL; 12 great grandchildren with one that was always with her, Xavier Gibson and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, family and friends.
