Mr. Robert J. Monroe, husband to Mrs. Mariah Monroe entered into rest Saturday, May 18, 2024, in Pruitt Health-Augusta.

Mr. Monroe was retired from the US Army, after twenty plus years.

Those left to cherish his loving memories includes his wife of fifty plus years, Mariah Monroe; children, Robert J. Monroe, Jr., Melanie Baumgartner (Martin); grandchildren, Timothy Baumgartner, Mariah A. Monroe, Khadijah M. Porter, Patricia Porter, Joseph Monroe, Jr., Chole Moyer; five great great grandchildren; other relatives and loving friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in Kinsey & Walton Chapel. Interment, Saturday, June 8, 2024, Zion Holl Missionary Baptist Church, 2100 Zion Hill Road, Bolivia, NC 28422.
