Georgia Mae Wheeler A Celebration of the Life of Georgia Mae Wheeler will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 299 S. Linda St., Cowpens, SC . Rev. McKinley Miles will officiate. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC. The family will receive friends Friday, June 1, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St.,Spartanburg, SC. J. W. Woodward Funeral Home

Avis to you and all of your family my prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. The word of God tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and what a wonderful place to be. Just to think of your beautiful Mother resting in the arms of Jesus, I hope that in it's self gives you comfort.

Oh, how I loved Mrs. Wheeler! I have such fond memories of her at Cowpens! Mrs. Wheeler always had a smile on her face and kind words for everyone. I always enjoyed running into her while shopping. So sorry for your loss, but Heaven gained an angel! Prayers lifted!
