Obituary For Norman Turner

Chesnee, SC - Brother Norman Turner entered into eternal rest on June 8, 2018. Mr. Turner was the son of the late Mamie Turner. Mr. Turner was a WWI Army Veteran. He was retired from Turner Brothers Brick Mason. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his children, Patricia (James) Boone of Aniston, AL, Evelyn Bobo, Joyce Webster and Alvin Bobo all of Spartanburg, SC , Paulette (Tony) Murphy of Charlotte, NC and Alma Bobo of Chesnee, SC ; his sisters, Frances Turner of Hendersonville, NC and Alice Alston of Wellford, SC; his eleven grandchildren; his thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: a son, Norman Bobo, Jr.; a brother, John Alfred Turner; a sister, Inea Camp; and a grandson, Anthony Waddell. A Celebration of the Life of Norman Turner will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 404 Richland St., Chesnee, SC. Rev. Ronnie Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.
