SPARTANBURG, SC - Mr. Emmons Clowney, Jr., 78, peacefully entered rest on July 3, 2018. Mr. Clowney was the son of the late Emmons Clowney, Sr. and Mrs. Anna Jenkins Clowney. He was the widower of Mrs. Jessie Mae Clowney. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his son and daughter-in-law, Samie and Felicia Clowney; his daughter, Sandy Clowney; his grandchildren, Jacob, Kylen, Kennedy and Noah. Mr. Clowney was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Mae Clowney and his son, Jimmy Lee Thomas. A Celebration of the Life of Emmons Clowney, Jr. will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Apostle Harold Bailey will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home of Emmons Clowney, Jr., 419-B Alma Byrd Lane, Spartanburg, SC. J. W. Woodward Funeral Home
