I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.

I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.

Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Mrs. Charmika Perry, age 49, of Largo Road, Norlina, NC departed this life on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at her residence.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 12Noon at Warren County Middle School 118 Campus Drive Warrenton, North Carolina. Bishop J. Terrell Alston will officiate and Pastor Phillip White will deliver the eulogy.

Charmika is survived by her husband James “Rock” Perry; children, Shamari Anderson, Niyana Perry, and Rocquan Perry, as well as her grandchild, Juelz Alvear, with an expecting grandchild due in November; two sisters, Soniya Anderson, and Roslyn Anderson; two brothers, Charlsey Anderson, and Rashawn Anderson; one uncle, Joseph Correa, her first cousin, Damaris Williams; her father-in-law, Bennie Perry, Jr.; two sisters-in-law, JoAnn Perry, Tomeka Boyd; three brothers-in-law, Bennie Perry III, Shawn Perry (Ann) and Antwan Perry. She shared a special bond with her God sister, Lori Hendricks, and one she considered a sister, Tara Hinton, along with a wide circle of other relatives and friends. Charmika was also surrounded by special friends that each shared a special memory with her.

Mrs. Perry may be viewed on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 1-5PM in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton.
