Obituary For James Brawton

James E. Brewton, 75, of Chesnee, SC transitioned to his heavenly address on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.Mr. Brewton was the son of the late Sam Brewton and Azzie Lee Brewton. He was the widower of Lorene S. Brewton.

James was a life-long member of Foster Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Brewton was an independent Truck Driver for forty years. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his two daughters, Wanda Hopper of Chesnee, SC and Linda Brewton of Chesnee, SC; his two sons, Dewayne E. (Virginia) Brewton of Spartanburg, SC and Dale Styles of Chesnee, SC;his brother, Sammie Lee (Sylvia) Brewton of Chesnee, SC; his two sisters, Barbara (Ray) Rice of Spartanburg, SC and Mary Wilburn of Boiling Springs, SC;his special friend, Trudy Murray; his six grandchildren; and his nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John Dean Brewton. A Celebration of the Life of James E. Brewton will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Foster Grove Baptist Church, 899 Foster Grove Rd., Chesnee, SC. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.
