Obituary For George Paul, Jr.

Mr. George Walter Paul, Jr., 83, of Lexington, GA was born on December 5, 1934 and died on December 9, 2017. Mr. Paul, a life-long farmer, was a graduate of Arnoldsville High School, a member of Burts United Methodist Church, and a member of the Oglethorpe County Senior Center Advisory Board. He was also owner and operator of Paul's Barbecue in Lexington, GA for thirty (30) years. Mr. Paul is survived by his son, Jimmy Paul of Lexington, GA, his granddaughter Robbie Paul of Watkinsville, GA, and his sister Rosa NeeSmith (Roger) of Lexington, GA, niece Beth NeeSmith, nephew Paul NeeSmith, all of Lexington, GA. The visitation will be held at Barrett Funeral Home - Oglethorpe Chapel on December 11, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The funeral services will be held at Lexington Baptist Church, 103 Church Street, Lexington, GA on December 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM and instate will be at 1:00 PM. Officiating Pastors are Les Overstreet and Ann Hansen. Internment: Clark Cemetery, Lexington, GA
