Bridgette Brown, 59, passed Thursday, June 13, 2024 in Phenix City, AL.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. EST, Friday, July 12, 2024 in the C. T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. J. H. Flakes, III, officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, 4881 South College Street, Auburn, AL 36830. Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 12-5 p.m. EST.

Ms. Bridgette Brown was born March 22, 1965, in Tuskegee, AL, daughter of the late Jefferson Henry Cain and the late Robena Cobb. She was called by the Lord to a place of eternal rest on June 13, 2024, at the beautiful age of 59. Bridgette confessed her life at an early age at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Auburn High School and Virginia College. She was employed with Grifols Talecris for many years where she dedicated her service while making a difference to both her co-workers and her clients. She enjoyed cooking, singing in the church, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson Henry Cain and Robena Cobb.

She is survived by her children; Lakeita “Corey” Johnson of Opelika, AL; Cedrick Brown, Jr. of Smiths Station, AL; Cierra Brown of Phenix City, AL; two grandchildren, Jesiah Johnson of Opelika, AL, Ja’Niyah Johnson of Opelika, AL; one brother, David “Teresa” Cobb of Atlanta, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many caring friends.
