Mr. Henry Battle, 77, passed away on June 14, 2024 in Phenix City, AL.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. EST at New Hope Baptist Church, Holy Trinity, AL with Rev. Tyrone Thomas, pastor, officiating and Rev. Gregory L. Pollard - The Enon Church, Atlanta, GA, eulogist. Interment to follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Public Visitation will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 1 - 5 p.m. EST.

Henry Was born November 11, 1946 in Russell County, AL to the late Henry Lee Battle Sr. and the late Nettie Allison Battle.

Henry was educated in the Russell County School System.

Henry was preceded in death by six siblings, Samuel Battle, Sanders Battle, Johnny Battle, Jessie Battle and Martha Dix, Mary Battle.

To cherish his memories he leaves two sons, Gregory (Lisha) Battle of Ellenwood, GA and Rodriguez Battle of Houston Texas; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great -grandchild five brothers Leon Dix of Clearwater FL, Howard (Andria) Battle of Phenix City, AL. Melvin Battle of Grove Town, GA. James Arthur (Doris) Dix of Springhill, AL. and Benjamin (Cathy) Battle of Columbus, GA. three sisters Doris Amerson of Hurtsboro, AL. Virginia (Stanley) Jones of Holiday, FL and Bernice Battle of Columbus, GA. Aunts: Ruth Beverly of Brooklyn, NY, Beverly (James) Jackson of Eufaula, AL. Uncles: Rev. King Beverly of Lima, OH and Rev. David Watts of Cleveland, OH. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
