Mr. Zebedee Ivan Hood departed this life on Monday, June 17, at his home in Thomasville, NC. He was born in High Point, NC, on October 27, 1969, to the late Roy Thomas Hood and Constance Miller Hood.

Zebedee attended the High Point City Schools. At an early age, he joined Pearson Memorial A.M.E. Church. He became part of the church's music ministry, where he played drums, and attended Sunday School, which provided him with meaningful spiritual guidance and nurtured his faith.

In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by a son, Raulo Jacquet Sanders.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Romar Hood and Jarvis Hood of High Point, NC; seventeen grandchildren; one brother, Roy Thomas Hood, Jr. (Peggy) of Charlotte, NC; six sisters, Mildred Patricia Kennedy of Charlotte, NC; Geneva Hood, Mary Young, Roetta Hood, Brenda Hood, all of High Point, NC and Shirley Hood Brown (Tomie) of Walkertown, NC; best friend, Richard Burton and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
