LIFE’S JOURNEY
We come together today to celebrate the life of Mr. Bradley O’Neal Davis. He was born on July 3, 1982, in Greenwood, South Carolina to Mr. Fletcher H. Pruitt, Jr. and Ms. Shirley McGowan Davis. He obtained his spiritual beginnings at New Hope AME Church in Mountville, South Carolina.
Mr. Davis is a graduate of Clinton High School and a former employee of Sterilite Corporation in Clinton, South Carolina. He was a member of the 705 Social Club of Clinton, South Carolina and a respected and well-known citizen of Laurens County.
Brad received his heavenly wings on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. He was greeted by his Lord and Savior and reunited with his mother, Ms. Shirley Davis; his grandparents, Mr. Johnny C. McGowan, Mrs. Arcelia Pyles McGowan, Mr. Fletcher Pruitt, Sr. and Mrs. Cynthia General Pruitt. “God gave us earthly families and never did intend, that bonds of love built on earth upon our death would end.” Mr. Davis will be forever loved and remembered by: his loving father, Fletcher H. Pruitt, Jr.; his beautiful children, Kazya Irby of Laurens, South Carolina, Maddison Davis, Braylen Davis and Bradley Davis, Jr. all of Clinton, South Carolina; his faithful sister, Monica Davis of Clinton, South Carolina; beloved aunts, Essie Leake, Brenda Gary, and Annie Pearl McGowan of Clinton, South Carolina, Pearl Gailliard of New York and Yolanda Pruitt of Ashton, Maryland; devoted uncles, Johnny McGowan, Charles McGowan, and Otis McGowan of Clinton, South Carolina and Norman Pruitt of Ashton, Maryland; an adoring special friend, Tiffany Johnson. Brad is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Brad had a carefree spirit, a jovial personality, a captivating smile and always encouraging words. He loved people and every person’s life that he touched seem to love him. Brad will truly be missed. So lift your head high, give him a smile and celebrate his homegoing. That’s the way Brad would have wanted it.
