Donnell E. Harris entered into rest, Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Ft. Eisenhower Medical Center.

He joined the US Army serving 23 years, earning several service medals to include the Vietnam Service Medal. He also worked and retired from the Veterans Affairs Administration.
Donnell was a advent fisherman, technology enthusiast, and loved landscaping.

Donnell was proceeded in death by his parents, one sister, Dorothy Maple, and special Uncle Red.

Donnell is survived by his son, Kevin (Sharon) Poinsette; Grandchildren, Afatia Poinsette, Kevin Poinsette Jr.; great-grandchildren, Luanei Poinsette, Luna Poinsette, Camden Poinsette, and Kevin Poinsette III; two siblings Perline Kearney (Michigan) and Annie Mae Howard (Michigan); nieces, nephews, cousins, best friend Rachel Cowan and dear close friends Clarence (Jeanette) Walker.
