Curtis Eugene Hill Sr. of Bowie, TX passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 at the age of 77.

Curtis was born April 28, 1947 to Marlin Hill and Margie Cunningham. He was known as Daddy, Curtis, Uncle Curkie, and the World's Best Papa. He was a sheet metal supervisor, jack of all trades on Ford Motors, and he cherished his family. He was a very loving husband who always put his wife first. He was one who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. If you ever had a problem with a car or anything else, all you had to do was pick up the phone. Curtis, you will be missed and loved always.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marlin Hill, mother, Margie Cunnigham, brothers, Donald Allen Hill, Walter Lee Hill, Robert Leon Hill, brothers-in-law Max Edward Cross (Eddie) and Don Stewart, sisters-in-law Kathy Hill and Teresa Stewart, Grandson Nathan Cordero Campbell, and great granddaughter Darla Jane Campbell.

Curtis is survived by his wife; Jane Hill; children, Curtis Eugene Hill Jr. (Junior), Eddie Ray Hill, Tonya Campbell and her husband William; sisters: Cindy Harrison and her husband George, Debra Taylor her husband Mike; Brothers, Charles Ray Hill and his wife Donna, Billy Frank Hill, Terry Wayne Hill, Kathye Cross and her husband Charles Nathan Cross; grandchildren; Curtis Eugene Hill III, J.R. Campbell and his wife Destiny Campbell, Steven Hill, Dusty Glover and her husband Greg, Valerie Nicole Smith and her husband Andy, Charles Edward Campbell and his wife Cheyeanne, and Cliffton Ray Campbell and Wife Katelyn Campbell. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.
