Although I did not meet Sis. Emily in person, I feel as if I have known her for a very long time. From first time that Dr. Jones first aired, I have been watching the show. Emily who seem to have a gentle spirit was always smiling, and when she changed her hair color to blond, that's when I got the courage to do the same. Very sharp looking lady. She will be greatly missed when watching Bobby Jones show. We pray God strength be with her family at this difficult time.

My family was very blessed to have been able to enjoy the gift of Ms. Harris through many years of seeing her on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show, singing with New Life, and the Nashville Super Choir. Her rich, throaty vocals were truly a gift from God. It feels as if a family member has transitioned. May her family be comforted by the love of our Lord who has promised to never leave us nor forsake us.

I didn't know Ms. Emily Harris but I felt I did. I would tune in to Bobby Jones Gospel just to look at her pleasant smile and warm personality. I missed her on Bobby Jones and was unaware she had made her transition. Was also surprised to know she had been demised since December, 2011. I will certainly miss seeing her on Bobby Jones Gospel. God Bless her family.

Sis. Emily possessed a beautiful voice and spirit. I still miss her from the Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel program. Heaven's choir is being filled with the wonderful saints who are going home after their labors down here. What a grand reunion it will be one day when we all walk around heaven all day and praise God. Dear Family be comforted for earth has no sorrow that God can not heal.
