Mrs. Phoebe Hunt Covington, 62, of Hickory, NC passed away on July 6, 2024 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. She was born on October 14, 1961 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Joseph Willie Hunt and the late Shirley Mae Peeler Hunt.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at First Baptist Lawndale, Lawndale, NC at 12:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Community Baptist Church in Lawndale, NC. The reception of friends and family will be 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. All other times the family will be meeting at 431 Crawford Street, Shelby, NC.
