Jimmie “Jim” Gilbert Farrell, age 84, of Durham, NC died Friday July 5, 2024 at Duke Regional Hospital.

He was born in Lee County, NC to the late Alton Farrell and Virginia Parrish Farrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynette Farrell Rochelle. Jim served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Lib” Money Farrell; son Jeff Farrell of Durham, NC; grandson Mitchell Farrell and wife Amber of Bloomington, IN and granddaughter Mary Henson of Mapel Hill, NC.

Memorial service will be Saturday, July 13th at 2 pm at Renew Christian Church in Durham, NC.
