James “Jim” Edward Price Jr., 65 of Montague, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 7th, 2024 at home. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Pawpaw and Brother.

A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17th, at the White Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Gregg Shaw officiating.

James was Born in Bridgeport, TX on July 25,1958, where he lived most of his life. James worked at Gifford Hill and Hanson, as a heavy diesel mechanic which he retired from of 45 years. He was family man and loved his home in Montague, working his cows, spending time with his grandkids, and his dogs. He was always working on something.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Barbara Price; his sister, Rheeanna Gage; his first granddaughter, Madison Waldrip; and last grandson, Colby Price.

James is survived by his wife of 45 years, Liz Price of Montague; son, Cody Price and his wife Lory; daughter, Courtney Waldrip and husband Todd of Bowie; sister, Susie Rankin and husband Rodney of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Morgan Waldrip and Mason Waldrip, both of Bowie, Chelsea Guevara and husband Bartolo of Alvord, TX, Coleton Price of Bowie, Chloe Billingsley and Justin Billingsley of Blackwell, OK and KatieJo Turlington of Bowie; and multiple nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Legend Bank for the Colby Price Scholarship and RheeAnna Gage Scholarship to help the upcoming Senior class.
