Funeral service for Janice Kelly, 76, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Evangelist Valarie Canady will officiate.

Mrs. Kelly, who passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at her home in Opelika, Alabama, was born January 5, 1948 in Jefferson County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to mourn her passing: son, Demetrius (Tonya) Kelly of Opelika, AL; daughter, Cynthia Bianca Green of Lafayette, AL; one grandson, Isaiah Johnson of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Barbara Ann Frisco Shorter of Opelika, AL; one niece, Valerie (Rickie) Robinson of Opelika, AL; one nephew, Rodney Shorter of Los Angeles, CA three aunts, Anna DeLoach of Carson, CA, Corrie Sue Frisco of Colorado Springs, CO, and Mary Haygood of Birmingham, AL; special friend and caregiver Charles Wayne Weldon of Opelika, AL; a host of great-aunts, relatives, cousins and friends.
