David Burns received his wings Friday July 19, 2024 at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was on born December 17, 1957 in Franklin, TN to the parents of Georgia Mae Gosey and George Burns.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Jackie Burns; sister, Mary Scarborough; aunt, Bessie Jenkins; children, William Culbreath, Angela Fleming, Shavallia Radley, Javondus Perkins, Javonti Perkins, Tiericka Perkins, Whitney Perkins, Jamaro Perkins and Chenell Dixon; devoted friends, Jeremiah Johnson, Larry Burns and Robert Lee Harrison; a host of other relatives and friends.
