On Thursday, July 25, 2024, Stanley Ray Lewis peacefully departed this life at his home in Henrico. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Dennise Lewis, two children, Kenneth Lewis and Myra Lewis; three grandchildren, Bryant, Micah and Noah; siblings, Connie Shelton (Clarence), Harvey Jones, Jr., Wilber Jones, Stuart Jones, Marsha Johnson and Betty Cosby; aunt, Hattie Lewis; uncles, Marion Lewis and Jack Lewis (Barbara); a host of nieces, nephews, one devoted, Michael Jones; cousins, two devoted, Leland Lewis and Gayle Wyatt (Greg); brother-in-law, George C. Taylor (Darlene); devoted friends, Felix Christian, Marvin Maddux and Craig Dickerson. We celebrate the life and legacy of our “Stan the Man”, “Doc Soul”, and “Stanislaus”, Stanley Ray Lewis. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2024. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Monday, August 5 at Providence Park Baptist Church, 468 E. Ladies Mile Road followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Jerome C. Ross, officiating. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.
