Tremayne Markessa Stovall

March 29, 1979 - July 21, 2024

Tremayne Markessa Stovall, a devoted father and passionate auto mechanic, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the age of 45. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, to the Late Elder Albert and Ruth Jones Stovall.

Tremayne was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, the Late Maudie Lee Brewster Jones and John Gora Jones, and his paternal grandparents, Hattie Carr-Stovall and Elder Governor Stovall, as well as his brother, Sean.

Tremayne's greatest joy was his daughter, Sophia Maria Stovall. He is also survived by his sisters: Brenda Stovall, Maudie (Tony) King, all of Erie, PA, Crystal Stovall of Phoenix, AZ, Tiauna Stovall of Rockville, MD, Minister Letitia (Kenneth) Miles, Charity (George) Easton, Duprina Stovall, and Minister Sheronda Stovall, all of North Carolina; and his brothers: Albert (Doreen) Logan of Erie, PA, Vernon (Markita) Stovall of Columbia, SC, Albert Stovall of Sharon, PA, Stephon (Kitty) Stovall and Caleb Stovall, all of North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Arrangements:
A celebration of Tremayne's life will be held at Greater Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Faith Church (201 S. Alston Ave., Durham, NC 27701) on July 29, 2024. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, followed by eulogistic services at 1:00 pm, officiated by Bishop J. D. Charlot, Sr., and eulogized by Bishop Larry J. Copeland.

Interment will follow at Glenview Memorial Park.
