Funeral service for Shawn Calloway, 39, of Auburn, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2 Day Lily Street, Loachapoka, AL, 36865 with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL 36865, Reverend Anthony H. Shealey will officiate.

Mr. Calloway, who passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Opelika, Alabama, was born March 20, 1985, in Columbus, Georgia.

Public viewing will be Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Calloway will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: five children, Shawndria Calloway, LeShawn Calloway, Derrion Calloway all of Loachapoka, AL, Katelyn Calloway and Shawn Calloway, Jr., both of Opelika, AL; mother, Annie Will Watts of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, LeKenna Watts of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Michael Holloway of Opelika, AL; maternal grandmother, Katie Bass of Loachapoka, AL; a special aunt, Cynthia Bass of Auburn, AL; seven aunts, Ella Pitts, Anteneria Pearson, Rosie Johnson all of Loachapoka, AL, Deborah Bass of Gainesville, FL, Ambrosia Cook of Syracuse, NY, Mary Ann Davis of Decatur, GA and Lizzy Pearl (Joe) Love of Waverly, AL; four uncles, Jeffery (Georgia) Bass of Auburn, AL, Willis Bass of Loachapoka, AL, Joe (Mary Louis) Watts of Waverly, AL and Kevin Matthews of Columbus, GA; a very special friend, Marquaitta Bulger of Opelika, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
