Ms. Lucille Bullock was born on February 19,1932 in Augusta, GA., to the late Mr. Thomas Bullock and Mrs. Mary Bullock. She attended Dowdy Elementary School and Laney High School. After graduating high school, Lucille moved to Manhattan, NY where she worked in healthcare. After retiring in 1995, she returned to Augusta and joined the Bullock family church, Mount Zion A.M.E. Zion Church, where she served faithfully for many years. She entered eternal rest on July 19, 2024. Lucille had one daughter, Cynthia Deloris Sanders. She was preceded in death by four brothers Thomas Bullock, Jr. (Catherine), New Jersey; Willie “Bull” Bullock (Ruth), Philadelphia, PA; George Bullock, Augusta, GA; and James Bullock (Minnie), Augusta, GA; and one sister Betty Bullock, New Jersey. She leaves behind one brother Charles E. Bullock (Maggie) Augusta, GA.; grandson, Carlos Sanders; nephew, Kenneth Bullock (Helen), New Jersey; niece Maria Bullock, Augusta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Friday, August 23, 2024, in Kinsey & Walton Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858
