Jurrika Denee Holmes Elliott, 38, of Richmond, departed this life August 2, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Vance Younger and step father, Rodney Lewis. Surviving are her husband, Jahmar T. Elliott, Sr.; two daughters, Amiyah Sandsbury and Juriyah Elliott; one son, Jahmar T. Elliott, Jr.; mother, Candace Holmes Lewis; three sisters, Shanice Golden, Patrice Holmes and Jarshima Smith; one brother Lamar Holmes; two devoted friends, Andrea “Tanky” Stokes, and Monica Howard; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 16, at Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church, 7240 Bethlehem Rd., Rev. Angelo Chatman, pastor. Rev. Jackie Lightfoot, officiating. Interment private.
