Daniel L. Hill Jr., 102, died Monday August 5, 2024 at Riverpoint Crest, New Bern.

His service is 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the Jasper G. Hayes Omega Center 800 Cedar Street, New Bern. The interment will follow at the St. Paul MB Association Cemetery, 340 Perrytown Loop Road, New Bern.

Mr. Hill was a retired Federal Building Inspector. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hill; brothers, David K. Hill and Aaron W. HIll; sister, Shirley Olden.

He is survived by one son, Daniel B. Bennett, Vanceboro, NC; three daughters, Reverend Betty Yarber, Florida, Lily Jeffers, Bronx, NY and Shirley Parker, New Bern; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
