Robert Walters, Jr. was born on October 5, 1940, Montgomery, Alabama to Robert Walters, Sr. and Hattie Moody Walters.
He attended the Montgomery County School System. Robert was a member of Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church for 40 years, where he served with the Sons of Allen, President of the Men’s Choir, Choir #2 and as a Trustee.
He worked 50 years in the construction industry as a block mason, where he helped to construct the Carwise Middle School, McDonald’s, North Greenwood Aquatic Center, the Fellowship Hall of Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church, amongst many others.
Robert volunteered at the Safe House on North Betty Lane.
He was an avid fan of the Daytona International Speedway and WWE Wrestling. He loved cowboy movies featuring John Wayne and Clint Eastwood and loved telling jokes.
Robert Walters, Jr. transitioned from this earthly life to his eternal home on July 27, 2024, Clearwater, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Walters, Sr., mother, Hattie Moody Walters, and brother, Eddie James Walters.
