On July 18, 1963, God presented an angel to the trust of the late Lewis Boga, Sr., and his wife, the late Mary Lillar Perry Boga, by the name of Antonio Boga.
Antonio was an avid reader, a great photographer, and a gifted child. He was born with divine knowledge, and learned to read at an early age. He attended Old Salem and Ashland High School.
Antonio became a member of Samuel Missionary Baptist Church at a tender age under the leadership of Pastor John Love.
On August 3, 2024, God beckoned His child home. He was surrounded by the love and admiration of his family.
His parents, brothers, Carlos and Jim, and a cloud of witnesses were there to greet him upon his arrival to his heavenly destination.
Although his journey is complete, he leaves his family to carry on: his siblings, Lewis Boga, Jr., of Memphis, Tennessee, Dorothy Green (William) of Plano, Texas, Lillar Fortson (James) of St. Louis, Missouri, Launcestine Jackson (Leon) of Memphis, Tennessee, Bessie Mason (Troy) of Ashland, Mississippi, J. B. Boga (Maxine) of Memphis, Tennessee, Jerry Boga of Riverdale, Georgia, Shirley Duval (Jim) of Lithonia, Georgia, Connette (Charles) of Memphis, Tennessee, Eldridge Boga (Brenda) of Ashland, Mississippi, Tracey (Thelma) of Grand Junction, Tennessee; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
