Mr. Albert Lee Collins, Sr. "Pops" was born on December 26, 1955 in Spartanburg, SC. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at his home. Mr. Collins was the son of the late Matthew Collins and Lillie Mae Crawford Collins.

Survivors include: his wife, Brenda Thompson; his five sons, Patrick Thompson, Tavus (Veronica) Thompson, Albert Lee Collins, Jr., Travis Collins, Sr. and Antwuan Collins; his daughters, Nicole Miller,Taneisha Collins; his daughters-in-law, Kiara Franco and Stephanie Martin; his sister, Sylvia Collins; his brothers, Jimmy Collins and Ernest Crawford; his aunt, Helen Ida Anderson; his twenty grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his sister, Vera Collins; and his brother, Matthew Collins.

Funeral Services will be held on August 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the Shiloh Memorial Gardens.
