Bradrick De’mon Hurt affectionately known as “Big Hurt” was born on November 23, 1987 to the parents of Shawander Hurt and Erwin Jordan. Bradrick made his transition from his earthly home to be with or Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Bradrick joined Hills Chapel Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Herman Laguin. He started attending Boswell Chapel Church under the leadership of Pastor Arthur Porter until his death.

Bradrick De’mon Hurt attended Greene County High School and graduated in 2006. He worked at Reynolds Plantation and from there he started working at Askew’s Appliance. Bradrick was a family man who loved and cherished his family, fiancé, and kids. He was a humble, kind, respectful, compassionate person who would do anything for anybody. Bradrick had an impact on a lot of people lives and his tragic death shook the whole community of Greensboro, Ga and other places. Bradrick was a coach for the GC Elite ballers. His legacy will continue to live on through his kids.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Maggie Mae Brinkley, Lucille Jones, Ollie Mae Stembridge, Willie Bell Jordan, James Jones and Berry Stembridge; uncles: Lamar Brinkley, James Jones, Jr., and Luther Jones; godfather (PaPa) Frank Bates; godmother: Shirley Bates; aunts: Lucille Jones Tyson, Jackie McDonald and Bessie Estrick.

Bradrick leaves to cherish his loving mom Shawander Hurt; his father Erwin (Sharon) Jordan; a loving and devoted Fiancé Jessica Derricot; three sons Braylen Hurt, Bryson Hurt & Bradley Hurt; two daughters, Rasheanna Wright & Raynija Wright; grandmother Gladys (Ma) Carter; grandfather David Jones, Sr.; mother-in-love Idonia Derricot; a very special cousin (lil sis) Shay Shay; three brothers Coureyon Woods, Tae Jordan & Jaceon Jordan; five sisters Crisalyn Terrell, ShaQuelia Jordan, Erin Jordan, Diamond Smith & Paris Smith; grandson Demaree Wright; sisters-in-love Shirley Fortson & Felicia Derricot; bonus Dad Kenneth Merritt and bonus Sister Shonteal Merrit; a special aunt Mary (Resbie) Jordan; aunts D’Undra (Jermale) Jernigan, Sara Champion & Evette Jordan; great aunt Sara Lee Shelton; uncles George Brinkley, Eric Jordan, Edwin(Ann) Jordan, Derrick(Valerie) Davenport, Jim(Sharon) Harvey, Ryan Redd, Larry Terrell, David(Lo) Jones & Vincent Jones; special cousin Jarrod Davenport. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 from First Methodist Church, 4741 Carey Station Road, Greensboro GA at 1pm.
