Stephanie Was Born On July 13, 1975 To Sherman Henry, Sr. And Deborah Nee Matthews In New York. She Was A Product Of The Parochial School System. She was a Proud Graduate of Aquinas High School In The Bronx, New York. She Attended John Jay College For Two- Years As A Criminal Justice Major.
Stephanie Was A Loving Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend, And Most Of All A Mother To Jonathan. She Departed The World On August 7, 2024 At Forty – Nine Years Of Age After A Lengthy Battle With A Chronic Illness. As An Adolescent Stephanie And Two Of Her Closet Friends At The Time, Spent Many Summers Choreographing And Vocal Endeavors For Their Debut At The Apollo Theater. They Were Never Able To Accomplish That Dream.
Stephanie Was Always Very Ambitious And A Leader From An Early Age. One Summer She Convinced Her Close Friend Shannon To Go Into The Carpet Cleaning Business, Which Turned Out To Be Quite Successful For Them. Despite All Her Challenges She Never Gave Up. She Trained To Be An EMT And She Obtained Her Real Estate License. She Always Would Shoot For The Stars.
Stephanie Married And From That Union Came The Love Of Her Life. Chi-Chi. Always Being Her Number One, She Enhanced His Life By Exposing Him To Various Forms Of Extra Circular Activities Both Socially. Academically And Culturally. Even She Was Unable to Partake, She Called On Her Village To Ensure That He Never Missed Out Or Wanted For Anything.
Stephanie Knew God From An Early Age. As She Matured She Learned To Lean And Depend On The Word Of GOD. The Peace And Her Love For GOD Allowed Her To Be Victorious Over Many Challenges. She Knew How To Let Go And Let GOD Be Her Anchor. This Trust And Belief In God Gave Her The Strength And Stamina To Carry On.
While Stephanie Had Suffered A Debilitating Disease Her Entire Life, Causing Excruciating Pain And Damage To Many Organs. Like A Warrior Princess She Fought And Won Every Medical Event Thrown At Her. She Has Won Another: The Battle Is Over. (Death Has No Sting And The Grave Has No Victory).
Stephanie Leaves To Mourn Her Son: Jonathan “Chi-Chi” Davis, Mother: Deborah Henry, A Host Of Aunts And Uncles, Brother: Sherman II, Her Baby Sherman III, A Host Of Nieces, Nephew, Cousins, And Friends.
